I need some advice please! I have a 1998 Plymouth Neon and the speedometer jumps sometimes and others it works just fine. Was wondering is it the speedometer sensor? I can hit the dash and sometimes it makes it work but when I do this it makes other lights go bonkers. My airbag and door light will come on for a few seconds and then go out. What would cause this? It's a neon, I don't want to dump loads amount of money into it.............plus

In the mornings when I start my car and put it into reverse before I let it warm up it will die on me. It's an automatic. Why does it do this? I'm bout to shoot my car.:banghead:

There are about 1 million posts here as to how to resolder your dash conections that usually fixes most of your problems , did for me. As for car stalling in reverse start with the basics , when did you do your last tune up ??

If your odometer and trip odometer are not working as well, then it's probably your Vehicle Speed Sensor. If they do work, then your gauges need to be reflowed.
