I have an 01 LE w/ 110,000 miles and I am noticing shifting "flare" between 2nd & 3rd gears. I did some research and found a manufacturer bulletin regarding this problem. It recommends replacing the Transmission Control Module. The problem is that when searching for a used one in local salvage yards, there is no listing for that part. Is there another name for it? I can find "Transfer Case", "Transmission Computer", "Transmission Torque Converter" etc. What else is the Transmission Control Module known as?
