im wondering how much i can tow with this car its got the 5.0 engine i plan on towing a single axle trailer with a kart on it probably 1200lbs at the most, will it be safe?

should be soem info in your owbers manual on GPW i would think you would be okay, if anything may need some air shocks.

She should pull just fine. The air shocks would be a good idea. I would also install a trans. cooler just to be on the safe side.

A 1987 Cv with a trans cooler in front,, and a class 3 hitch is able to 3000lbs ,, and with a weight equlizer system can handle up to 5000 lbs !! But do not tow in OD !! and if your going to do heavy loads I would add some air shocks in there on the rear
