View Full Version : New Tires for Villager New Tires for Villager carrfamilynj 08-27-2006, 08:40 AM cstrat 10-09-2006, 12:00 PM I have Michelin Hydroedge tires. They last a long, long time (treadwear rating is 760) are quiet and a good tire. Not sure about their snow capability. It doesnt snow here a lot but they seem ok when it does. carrfamilynj 10-09-2006, 04:10 PM I ended up ordering Kumho Solus KH16 225/60/16 tires, they came with really good reviews from other users on tirerack.com, and they were only $180 for a set of 4! cstrat 10-10-2006, 01:39 PM That is a good price. Course you have to pay shipping and then to have them mounted and balance but prolly still way less spendy than the Michelins. Hope they work out well for you. carrfamilynj 10-10-2006, 05:10 PM Tires, including shipping $240 Mount, balance and install $75 4 wheel alignment $70 Total $385 Not bad for a highly rated 60,000 mile tire, including the alignment! cocoz 10-11-2006, 12:52 PM I own a 94 villager in NJ, have used Toyo from STS, and Michelins from BJ's. Go to BJ's, good price, free rotations and flats fixed. I commute 80 miles a day mostly highway all year and they handle graet in snow. I also sometimes drive slightly in excess of limits (you know the NJTP) and loved them in rain and snow. Unless STS is offering free alignment, I go BJ's. Oh, I put Mich's from BJ's on my Lexus sports coupe, And Kia MV. cocoz 10-11-2006, 12:53 PM oops, just realized i posted too late, sorry. Good luck with the new tires Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com! Registration is absolutely free. |
