DistanceGuy1 08-27-2006, 04:37 PM Exactly where is the pcv valve located on the 24V DOHC Duratec engine? Should be under the manifold jpjj 08-28-2006, 06:54 PM I found it but I was unable to remove it. Are there any tricks? brokenantimatter 08-28-2006, 08:22 PM I found it but I was unable to remove it. Are there any tricks?Needle nose pliars. Usually they are just gunked in a couple are screwed but the duratec should just be shoved in. mwt878991 08-29-2006, 07:15 AM The manual says to turn it 90 degrees. The concensus is you have to pull the UIM and the fuel rail otherwise you will run the risk of breaking it when you start pulling on it. I havent ever changed it. What year Duratec is that? Mike :smokin: brokenantimatter 08-29-2006, 10:52 PM Either my 1996 or 1998.......probably the 1996. shorod 08-29-2006, 11:54 PM I would guess the 1996 as well. Didn't the 1998 have electronically controlled intake runners? The one in the photos appears to be vacuum actuated. -Rod vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
