To physically see your timing belt you have to remove the upper timing cover. To just check and make sure it hasn't snapped, open your oil filler and look inside while someone cranks the engine. If you see movement, the timing belt is still intact.

I'd try to unscrew the side plastic and it did'nt came off is there a lock or something?

The valve cover has to come off first. The upper timing cover is locked below it.
