I just got my G and might get an extended warranty but heard it can be a rip off. Has anyone had major trouble/breakdowns with their G. Has anyone got the warranty and wasted the $.

with the G, it depreciates so darn fast that you should sell it before the 4th year. that's what I'm planning on doing mine. wat's our overage? 5 years 50K miles? for got.

our basic warranty is 4yr/50K i was thinking about the extended too, since it's gonna be a while till i get another car - still in grad. school.

Don't bother. Depends of what year of yo car, unless you plan to have it

I mean depending on what year yo sh_t is ( I have 99') they are made
pretty well and as long as you don't treat it like sh_t, it won't do you that

It depends on the way you drive, My brother in law drives like if hes everyday on the race track & already has had his 2000 jetta in more time than a 5 dollar whore lays on her back.

When you first get your car there is a break in period you should go through, consult your dealer & always get your oil changes done with in the 3000mile recomendation don't go too much over, this is the blood of the engine.
