i need some parts

:screwy: ok so im building a neon that has 300 hp to the wheels. i need so parts any help would be great. i need the tenioning pully for the timming belt. i need bolts for the timing gears. throttle body w/ the pig tails from the wireing harness and that will do it. again any help would be cool. thanx guys.

How much are you looking to spend

I don't think 300hp without boosting is possible with a 2.0.
I think the most I've ever seen is 225hp with a 75 shot of NOS.

I've seen 300hp with 22psi of intercooled boost.
You can get more is you have some serious cash.
300HP is in the price range of $5000-$7000 already.
The highest 2.0l hp I've seen was 400hp but is was built way beyond most peoples budget and knowledge.

Yea I saw the video of the 400 horse neon. It was actually a sohc.

If you really wanna go all out, though, go for dohc model like an ACR, R/T or sport.

I've heard of a couple dohc neons pushing 500+ horses running 9 sec qtrs.
Fastest neon I've heard of pushed 625hp (have no idea how) and ran 8.62 sec qtrs.
Also saw a video of a 1600 hp nissan skyline running 7.95 secs.

They've gotta have more than just aftermarkets in their cars, though. Probably some specially engineered parts and full-racing parts.
