What Type Of Oil Does A 96 Civic Standard Transmission Use? Atf,gear Oil, Motor Oil? Thanks

Honda recommends Honda Genuine Manual Transmission Fluid to be used in all transmissions. You can buy it at the dealer for a few bucks. You can use 10W30 motor oil if you really want to, but I'd strongly recommend going with Honda MTF.
