NGK versus Densohotpursuit 08-22-2006, 07:48 PM I am getting ready to replace the spark plugs in my 96 Avalon with 195,000 miles. Is there any difference between the NGK and the Denso plugs. Owners manual lists both as acceptable. The NGKs are about $4 per plug more. Brian R. 08-23-2006, 12:13 AM No difference that I am aware of. rodeo02 08-23-2006, 08:13 PM Either will do. Denso or NGK are the best plugs money can buy IMO. I've seen too many issues with bosch sparkplugs and I wouldn't bother running a 'domestic' plug in a yota.
