I have to replace the driver side mirror. Checking online, I found 2 mirrors for the US manufactured 2000 Camry LE, One is heated and the other non-heated. I had a non-heated mirror installed previously,Can a heated mirror be installed at time of replacement? Will there be any changes required to wiring for the heated mirror?
I am new to this and do not know much about repairing cars.
Thanks.

Welcome to the forum!
I do not think you will be able to hook up heated miror. As far as I know heated mirors are options for XLE models. You can try to remove your miror and see if you have extra line for the heating element. Or better go online and check if your car model has this option. This way you will not have to take your mirors apart.

Are extra switches and relays needed to operate the heated mirrors? Look at a wiring diagram for your car and compare the different components in the circuit. You may have the wiring for the heated mirror, yet not have all the components.
