the reason there's so much black smoke/soot there was because the car wasn't running a particulate filter. lots of diesel owners after performance remove the particulate filter becuase it's quite restrictive.

They are here for the 100 year Rhody days. A weekend long block party down in old town Florence. I hate it. Drunks, meth-heads. The cool part is all the hot rods come out on Saturday for the car show. I work Friday night but will try to get to the show and take some pics for everyone to enjoy, and the horses are huge.

I saw them last night about 830pm. It was to dark to get good pics but i got some. I can't wait for the car show tho.

power inverter would be good. around $40 for one. I would get one of those banks bundles with the intake, exhuast, intercooler and 6 gun tuner. Obviously you gain a decent amount of power but if you make the truck more efficient, you'll probably get better fuel economy.

i was thinking of a nice Bank Power package. only issue is price and possibility of hurting fuel economy.

with the custom-made front bumper and roof bar thingy, might not have the money for a Big Hoss bundle.

if i do have the money, and the budget allows i think i'll go for it. i'm going to get a DB Diesel exhaust brake. (it's better than the Banks one)

if you got the tuner and kept it on a low setting you'd probably be ok but the entire bundle is a good chunk of change. even just an intake an exhaust would help out with economy.

the new intake elbow is a lot better than the stock one, so that and an exhaust brake would be handy for the trip.

if i work all-out and make lots of money before the trip the truck might get some upgrade. probably not going to happen though.
