I have come to the final conclusion that Chem is going to be a waste of time and not help me treat patients. At least its interesting but man its a pain in the ass. Carbon bonds and stuff. *sreaming and pulling my hair out* OK I am done....

it's helpful in the way that it's another qulification, it looks good on the CV and may open new opportunities for you. otherwise, in the medical field i can only guess that it's most useful for toxicology.

chemistry is one of those things that's hard for ages, then it just clicks and you understand.

I was drunk playing with everclear and a lighter a few months ago and was burning it and it fell off the spoon onto the porch and caught it on fire. I was barefoot stomping out a fire, it sucked.

Chemistry is one of those things that really depends on who is teaching it. My high school teacher made it seem simpler but my college professor was a doctor and it was his first semester of teaching chemistry. It goes without saying that I was forced into withdrawing from that class.

I hate listening to new doctors lecture, they think the world revolves around their field, takes them a few semesters to tone it down a bit.

He was a really cool guy and VERY intelligent, but way above the student's level. There were a bunch of prerequisites that I didn't have as well, thus making it a lot more difficult for me.
