Chicken. It's not all that disgusting, just a little bit of blood and some water. And a child. The umbillical cord is difficult to cut, they don't tell you that when they give you the scissors though. Then come the sleepless nights, the 2am feedings, and all that happy crap. We've been lucky, she's 16 weeks old now and has been sleeping through the night for the past 6 weeks.
