Speaking of movies, I saw Knocked Up a few days ago. It was pretty damn funny. So many jokes in that one, I hardly remember any of them. But I laughed my ass off. I recommend it.

looked up a quote on the car i want, it was outrageous, might register and insure it at my grandparents' house, see if that helps the cost. if not, i'll get something else. possibly get insurance so i have third party in any car.

very tired, going to shower and nap, then i have a $100 job tomorrow morning to do. once that's done i'll have about $1,340. if insurance isn't a lot better on the car i want, it'll go on tools.

i could be making ~$400 a week + comission (upto $200/week) + tips (~$100/week).

but i'll be working 11-13 hours a day, 6 days a week, without breaks. i eat when we're not busy, i use the bathroom when we're not busy. a lot of it is about turnaround time. get them in, get them sorted and get them out. the quicker it's done, you more you can make.

not to sound stuck up or whatever, but i work fucking hard at work, and it's tiring shifting wheels, changing tyres, fitting exhausts etc.. you get tired when you stop working.

No doubt... I wish I was making that kind of money. If I had the chance to put those hours in I would. Of course, I got banned from overtime at work cause apparently the hospital can't afford it... Cheap bastards... :(

This is a franchise tyre changers run by two guys. it's one unit, with two ramps. $20,000 profit in a month is pretty damn impressive.

Its not bad. But, considering the expenses are comparatively low, if the location is right, business is good, profit comes pretty quickly.

looks like i won't be on here very much. i just got a job with my uncle restoring wood (deks, gazeebos (sp?) etc.) and that takes a bunch of time, and i've got class at night on monday-wednesday. tonight i did a lab drunk, finished before everyone even started (the director was talking for about an hour because it's the first lab) and left, but not before the lab director talked to me about drinking, thought i just had a beer with dinner though, didn't know i was drunk.
