My temp. bulb has been burned out since I got my car and it's starting to get to me. The dealership wants $100 in labor to change it, so I'm going to give it a try my self. Anyone know of any instructions that's been posted? I searched but found nothing. So any tips would be great! Also the bulb I need is 74 right?

yeah, it is probably a 74, that's what is was on the galant.

find the bolts/screws to get inside the dash pod. take them out. replace the bulb, shouldn't be too hard, unless it is all the way in the dash in which case, it might take a bit.

100$ though, it's prolyl just really easy to get to and change. there is a service manual i linked to a few times maybe in one of the instructions at the top. if not search on club3g.com.

Just got it changed, took me about 10-15 minutes and it was very simple. Could do it again in five minutes. I cant beleive the mitsubishi dealership wanted 100 bucks for that. By the way the bulb is a 194 in case anyone ever needs to know.

Dont know, I didnt have to go that deep into the gauges. But everything I've read says its a pain in the ass. Check out club3g.com it's talked about alot on there.
