I have a dragging pad on the inboard front driver side. the rotor, pads and caliper are new. It goes away when i turn left. any thoughts.

Caliper still isn't sliding smoothly for some reason...bent hardware, damaged slide surface, making hard contact with something it shouldn't be....

With the piston retracted fully (I mean pushed ALL the way back, like with a c-clamp or pad spreader), and the caliper mounted up, you should be able to slide that caliper back and forth across it's full range of movement easily with two fingers and a thumb...if not, there's your problem, figure out why...

I have a couple of questions. How did you determine it's the inboard? And when you say it goes away, I assume you mean it's making scraping or dragging noises until you turn? Is the hub bearing OK (no lateral drift?)

I know it is the inboard becuz when i bought the car it had the inboard pad on that side completley worn down into the backing plate, the rest of the pads where fine. My initial thought was the caliper was bad so i replaced it to find it was not it, now im thinking wheel bearing but i should check the side bolts, pretty sure the caliper slide ok didnt really pay much attention to it.

That's pretty typical of a slide pin and bushing that are seized together...the whole assembly might slide in the caliper bushings, but the two have to move independantly of each other also, or it'll drag the inboard, just like you described...

It was the little metal pad slide brackets, put new ones in and fixed the issue
