Need to do a tuneup on a 93 LeSabre. Plan to start with a Seafoam treatment. Plugs, wires and an oil/filter change to follw.

Any experience with Seafoam?

Anything made by seafoam is good stuff. Anything by Lucas is good as are Chevron Techron and TransX (Not 100% on the transX, just what a mechanic told me).

Have used chevron techron for years. Good stuff. Seafoam did a nice job on the buick today and I still haven't changed plugs yet. Just Seafoam, oil/filter, and tranny fluid/filter today. more tomorow. Not familiar with lucas or transx tho. Will keep them in mind for future reference.

how are you using the seafoam? are you putting it in your crankcase? i put some in my truck through the pvc valve and didn't notice anything i think it made it worse

I let the power booster hose suck up about 6 ounces. Shut the car off for about 20 minutes then started it and let it run till the smoke cleared. the engine is definitely running smoother for me now.
Did this with the engine at operating temperature.
