Well I was parking my pathfinder (1993 v6 5speed 4x4), and after I drove in the garage I put it in 4x4 (was curious) and the green 4x4 indicator light showed up, tried to put it back to 2H (normal driving) and it wouldn't go in. It goes in the other gears well (4x4, neutral, 2L) but not 2H. I try to push it all the wayy up (to 2h) and the 4x4 light still stays on. Thanks

try driving backwards for a bit then go forward. if not look at the linkage and see if the 2wd is out of adjustment on the linkage

Thanks circeseye, I reversed all the way out, drove around and the light went away. All is good
