put a computer in my cardragon370 08-19-2006, 07:14 PM is it possible to put a desktop PC in one's car? i have a 15" LCD monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse, and a computer system with Windows XP (actually i have several computer systems to choose from, i repair, buy, sell, and upgrade computers). is there any way i could mount a desktop PC in the trunk, plug it in to the car's power, and wire it up to a screen and wireless receiver in the front?? dave92cherokee 08-20-2006, 01:09 AM Many people do it it just requires some fabrication. Most people pull the guts out of the case and mount them to a board hidden somewhere but still gets airflow and depending on the kind of video card you have you could buy one of the automotive screens that like mount to the headliner and wire it that way. Just takes a little bit of inginuity and time but it can be done. AlbanyCartel 08-20-2006, 04:31 AM Yea, its nothing new. I am really sorry that I haven't noticed the date you posted. I am a newbie in this forum. Thanks for you kind advice. mustangwilliams 03-11-2008, 02:45 AM Why put a desktop PC if you can buy a Laptop? :grinyes: But its still a nice addition because desktop PCs are more easier to upgrade than a laptop. ____________________________ unauthorized advertising links removed '97ventureowner 03-11-2008, 02:04 PM Closing this before it gets resurrected once again or someone comes in and posts spam messages. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
