Is there a trans fluid to use besides the OEM that is only availible from the dealer?
If so what is the brand/model?

Two days ago I went to the dealer to price a quart of ATF. It was something over 7 dollars!!! With six quarts that my manual calls for LX it is going to cost me...
I am going to use Dexron III. In the maual Honda recomeds using only Honda ATF. They say that if in emergency if you used Dexron III, you have to replace it with Honda ATF as soon as possible.
I personally do not think so. All petroleum products come from the same source. Different companies add their own additives, paste thier own lables and charge us extra for this.
I am going to go just with a good name!
