I replaced the ect sensor and the result did not change. However, after I replaced the water pump the problem went away. Also, remember to replace the timing belt at the same time hako 02-29-2008, 04:06 AM A new coolant temp sensor is not expensive - maybe $AUD40 and clips into the coolant hose near the air cleaner. Change that and hope the rest is OK. Kirk in Iowa 02-29-2008, 02:38 PM Depending on the exact symptoms, this thread may help too. May not be a bad sensor. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=750432 Kirk vBulletin®, Copyright ©2010, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
