Tire balancing beads???

I've got new 33's on 15 steel simulated bead locks on my TJ. The tires were all balanced staticlly (weights clamped on inside of rim only) and I'm not getting a very good ride. I know mud terrigns will ride worse and I've accepted that. I've checked with some well respected local shops about getting a better balance job for my Jeep. I'm being told by more than one shop to use "Equal" which is a powder that goes inside of the tire and balances the wheel and tire. I've done some research on this and have read alot about putting Equal in your tires or the balancing beads which is a different form of the same idea. Even though I'm reading positive stories about this, I'm still leary about doing this and would like to hear any experiences you all may have had with this system.
Thanks,
