well my CEL has been on for 2 years you know it... dirty egr
well i bought the scanner reset it. a month later ITcame back. clean it. a month later back on again etc.....
well last week i took my truck in for a transimissin problem the service advisor called me an hour later and said btw your CEL is on. the code is for a dirty egr if you want us to clean it and clear the CEL it will be $404.00:screwy:
i said 400 bucks that crazy to undo a few bolts and spray in some cleaner just for the light to come back on in another month and he knew i was right

Thats why I never go to the stealership for anything cept the occasional part that I cant wait on for shipping and cant get aftermarket.

But then I dont have any warrenty on mine so have no reason to go.
