Cusser 08-17-2006, 01:42 PM Check the vacuum hose going to the EGR for cracks or leaks. If none, test the EGR with a hand vacuum pump, may have to take that off and clean it to restore its operation. 72' Stang 351 H/O 10-04-2006, 05:38 PM Slap another catalatic converter on there, that should fix the problem. hocbj23 10-04-2006, 06:42 PM plus a new 02 sensor. JustSayGo 10-04-2006, 08:23 PM The EGR system lowers Nox. Your EGR valve is not opening or a passage including the valve as Cusser wrote is restricted (blocked) by carbon.
