2005 Sienna AWD tires need replacing every 20,000 miles!

We've had so many problems with our Sienna tires ever since the purchase date. We had all four tires replaced once due to "uneven wearing" and one of our tires had to be replaced TWICE. After about a grand down the drain I find out that Sienna's been having problems with their AWD tires. I went for our 25000 mile maintenance today and found out that it is all of the sudden recommended that we COMPLETELY REPLACE ALL FOUR TIRES EVERY 20,000 MILES. That's $1300 each time. The other option we were told we had was to replace all of our tires to normal ones, buy a kit to install a spare tire in our alreay dinky trunk space. Has anyone else been told this?

I'd consider getting tires from elsewhere, 4 tires for $1,300 on a Sienna is quite expensive. The OEM tires on the Sienna do seem like it wears quite quickly. I'd try looking around www.tirerack.com or www.discounttire.com for much better alternatives. If you dislike ordering online, go to Goodyear or JustTires, any other place then the dealership for better deals.

This has been common complaint with AWD Siennas. The run flat tires wear out fast regardless of make.
