well the other day i just changed the spark plugs on this truck and when i went to turn it over, i just cranked, but wouldnt start up. it was soooo damn close but just wouldnt do it. so i just messed around with shit and wiggled wires and then it ended up starting. the next morning i go out to leave for work, and it wont start again. same thing as the night before.
i know it sounds like bad plug wires but i swapped them out for some new ones and it still didnt start. i ended up putting everything original back in (wires and even the old spark plugs). went to start it and it didnt the same as usual. i played around with trying to start it and ended up getting it started by just letting it crank for only about a second along with giving it a little gas.
what the is wrong with it!?
any questions ask, any pointers would be very helpful as its not my car and it looks like im an idiot now. thanks in advance

If it will run with the gas pedal slightly down, then the IAC (idle air control) valve may have went kapoot.

Try disconnecting the battery to clear the computer.

If it just cranks and no start, try replacing battery cables. I had similar problem a few years back. 91-94s had this problem and is widely known.
