I know this means that there is a problem with the airbags, I really don't have any interest in fixing them being that I am poor and don't drive the car that much.

But the flashing light is annoying as hell! I took out the fuse, but now the light just stays solid, any suggestions on how I can disable it alltogether? (Other than digging into the dash and removing the bulb)

Short of finding that specific wire and cutting it, I'd say pulling the gauges and then the bulb are your safest bet. Hopefully that flashing light doesn't mean that the airbag could possibly go off at any time due to malfunction or something.
