I replaced the battery in my intrigue just recently. This may sound weird, but right after i started the car, the odometer began to increase while the car was sitting still! Any ideas?

I replaced the battery in my intrigue just recently. This may sound weird, but right after i started the car, the odometer began to increase while the car was sitting still! Any ideas?

Well just removed the complete dash board on my 1999 (AC headache) and the whole speedo cluster comes out very easy - remove two screws that holds the black part infront of the speedo. Then 4 screws on the instrument cluster. There is one plug on the right hand side at the top

What I would suggest is disconnect the neg. side of the battery. close all doors and turn every thing off. Hook up the battery again and hope for the best
