Was charging ac system, took half bottle 134a and now compressor clutch won't engage. Just blows hot air, was blowing semi cool air. Is there a relay I need to check? Maybe too much freon? Any ideas....TY

Im not sure with the Fords but when i did this to my blazer last year i had to jump the low pressure switch on the accumulator. Im not sure if the Ranger has one it probally does but im not sure with that year. Also if that doesnt pan out i know with my uncles truck we tapped the clutch with a rubber mallet and it freed it up.
