I am looking to get a small truck something like a Tacoma or a Jeep Wrangler 4x4 5 spd manual. 4 or 6 cylinder doesnt really matter. I want something earlier model like older then 99, pretty decent on gas which is why a Jeep is not looking tooo good...but I still love them. And thats about all im really looking for. Anyone have any ideas for other trucks.

It really depends on what you intend to use the vehicle for. Those are two very different trucks. If you are in a band and have lots of gear....get the Tacoma. If you live in a rural area with lots of dirt trails and snow....get the Wrangler. Both are really durable and will last forever.

If you're using it just for driving on the road get the Taco, if you're going to be doing a lot of off-roading go for the Wrangler.

I have an 87 ranger that my brother is currently using for college, its got well over 200000 miles on it and has never needed anything.I know its not on the list but I am impressed by it and would recommend it to anyone looking for a small truck.
