Try removing and reinstalling the core to see if the leak stops. If not, you can next buy the whole valve as a replacement from Ford. Be sure to use some teflon tape on the threads when installing. 10 mm wrench if I recall. cory fincher 08-01-2006, 01:02 PM thanks man i will try that cory fincher 08-01-2006, 02:15 PM hey there i just pulled out the core and put in a new one now its great thanks alot man, even though i lost $15 bucks in gas im glad its fixed 12Ounce 08-01-2006, 05:46 PM I'm glad you got it fixed before having a fire! .. also glad you realized that you could buy a new core. I intended to include that bit of info, but just forgot to. Just make sure its one that has gasoline resistant components ... not just for bicycle tires. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
