Hi Everybody!

Made a lot of progress on the Neon yesterday. Got the wheels completely back together, installed the rear engine mount, some random bolts and sort of installed the front stabilizer bar

When I was taking the car apart to get at the clutch, I lost one of the bushings from the stabilizer bar connection. I'm pretty sure it rolled down the street and disappeared because I couldn't find it anywhere.

I took one bushing (there are four on each side of the car) from the other side of the car so now both sides are even, but a little loose.

I'm sure this negates the whole point of having a stabilizer bar. Am I right?

I'm sure I have to spend an arm and a leg for a new set of bushings for the bar. Does anyone have any suggestions or am I stuck going to the dealer for parts (again)?

Will having a loose stabilizer bar have a negative effect on the alignment of the car?

Go to the dealer or junkyard for the bushings.

No, it will not effect your front end alighn, but for fifteen bucks or so the bolt and bushings come in a set.
Just a dad, Good luck
