I am int he market for a 97 Sunfire, with 84,000 klm. Just wondering what major problems people have had and around what mileage did they occur.
Body looks good, Are the parts ready to go, cheap to replace. Is there anything hard to get to in the engine bay for repairs? What is your personal opion on this car?

thanks.

its an ok car....but i would keep looking around...miles are high...look into getting a 02 or newer...youll like it more or check into a cavalier...

84k isnt very high, thats a decent starting point, everything is broken in etc. If u wanna pay a bit more u can get a few yr newer one, 01 w/ eco or newer is ur best bet, the ecotec is far superior to the 2200. Nothing against 22's tho cuz mine has 230k and it runs smooth. :)

yes but for a modifiers point of veiw the 2200 isnt worth doing anything with.
