Has anyone tried this filter out? I just stumbled across it and seems like a good alternative. Less MAF issues!

Where is the cold air intake part of it?
And I do not believe the gas mileage crap they are putting out about it.

I linked to the replacement filter part in case people were interested in getting rid of their oiled filter. The cold air link is there somewhere. I also saw them on Ebay. I don't advicate them in any way, I just posted a product I thought was interesting.

Looks like something I will be looking into although that cleaner is a scam.

Why can't they say just use dish soap or something.

No, you have to use their cleaner only.

Thanks for the link.
I did not see the cold air part.
All I saw was a picture of filter out in the open and the old better mileage crap.
But I do not think most K&N peoiple are going to give up there K&N.:grinyes:
K&N does make a tough filter that is going to be hard to beat or replace with anything else in that type of filter .

the aem brute force intake with that filter is $335 for 96+ blazers. whats the difference between that and K&N's $200 FIPK other than the filter? the filter does sound like a good idea though for MAF trucks.

Just get an ebay intake and replace the filter it comes with for cheap off of ebay.

I see the dryflow filters are there too.

Any check these out yet? Not a bad price, comes with the heat shield also. Just thought I would throw it out there.

Same price as the K&N but they are pushing the gunmetal piping as a better thing.

Actually, the metal will absorb more heat and transfer it to the incoming air more than the heavy duty plastic will.

The difference will be minimal at best though.
