I wanted to know Do I have to removed engine bolts to replace drivebelt on a 1998 malibu.

You have a V6, right? Looks like only coolant recovery reservoir has to be removed. Then you rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise with box end wrench

Yes the 98' malibu is a V6-3.1. It looks like there is a motor mount sitting next to the drivebelt that would hinder it from coming directly off.
