Hi Board-
My 84 Sunbird has about 12K on a complete rebuild 1.8. The car was semi retired (ready to be donated) on the side of the house for 8 years. I woke up one day and got it back on the road. I have been driving it here and there.
The Check Engine Code 42 recently presented, coupled with feedback through the speakers and erratic engine behavior. Should I just buy the ignition module and be done with it? At $29, it seems like a cheap fix.
Just looking for feedback...
Thanks,
Paul
