just installed 4.5 inch lift and now wheels toe in towards top88 cherokee owner 07-29-2006, 08:26 AM i just installed a coil 4.5 inch lift from rusty's offroad and now my wheels are toed in towards the top. what adjustments do i need to make to upright them until i can take it to the shop. I'm gonna upgrade the tires in a few weeks, so i will get an alignment then, but what can i do for now? fredjacksonsan 07-29-2006, 09:14 AM Get an alignment. -edit- sorry, didn't read to end of your post, had an interruption. Keep in mind that the vehicle will handle differently, and may be unsafe in certain situations. There will also be a lot of stress on some suspension components. You'll need the alignment, most definitely, before the new tires, so best to get it asap. Saudade 07-29-2006, 11:34 AM If they are "leaning" in at the top, this is called Camber. How far are they leaning? 88 cherokee owner 07-30-2006, 02:40 AM allright so i bit the bullet and took it in. the surprising thing is that they stated that there was no camber issue; however the specs call for 0.05 degrees of toe in, and on one wheel it came out to 3.27 degrees. that's a lot more if ya know math, so thanks for pushing me into going and getting it done. that's why i always ask you guys. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
