Blower fan on 88 Camery problemWolfman1964 07-26-2006, 03:27 PM I have a 88 camery. Just got it. The blower motor has been running fine until the other day. It just stopped. Don't know how, my wife was driving it at the time. When you try to turn on the fan, nonething happens. No light on the ac button or anything. The light used to come on when you turned the ac on. Any suggestions? Could it be fused? Thanks. xfeejayx 07-26-2006, 04:17 PM Most definately could be a fuse if you lost the light also. If you have an owners manual, it's real easy to find. Not sure where it would be on an 88. On a 96 es300 it was by the passenger toekick. It's a longshot, but might be the same location. hassanbigboss 07-26-2006, 05:58 PM If everything gave up like you said than the first place to look at would be the AC fuse. If that does not work tell us so that we can look at it a little more deeper.:) Wolfman1964 07-28-2006, 08:57 AM Thanks for all the the replys. She said that it all of a sudden it came back on. She slid the selector all the way to the right and the fan came on. The only thing I can tell is there might be a loose connection somewhere. Any sugestions? typesix 07-28-2006, 11:17 AM Could also be the motor fan resistors. Each position on fan speed has resistor in series with the fan motor except for high position. The low speed resistors could be gone although the resistors don't usually all go at the same time. Could also check the fan speed selector switch. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
