Here is the last project of my Dad. It's a Shelby Serie 1 Revell.

It was paint with TS-50 Tamiya Silver paint (that i bought for my CLK-GTR i started today) This kit is kinda horrible (fit problem, lot of mold problem... it's revell !!) So let us know what you think !

Lookin good! I just finished doing that same model, and I have to say its the worst model I have ever done. First I couldn't figure out how the radiator was setup, then the damn hoses were too short, and then...blah blah. You get the point.

Looks to be a nice kit overall for a Revell

I've build lots of plains from Revell but not a single car.
Don't know about the quality of Revell cars but anyway your dad did a great job.

Very nice, but would be better if the silver is lighter in colour...

i also built this kit and it was without a doubt the worst model that i've ever seen in my whole life, i really want to give the car a bath in gasoline and have some fun with FIRE!:flamer:

Good work!!
I've got my Series One sitting on the shelf while I wonder what colour to paint it. I assembled the entire chassis and engine in a couple hours. Air brushing the chassis was a breeze as the ENTIRE thing was flat aluminum with the detail parts in sg black, blue and gold. For such a quick build, I didn't think this was that bad of a kit! The hoses needed some serious cleaning up and there was a serious fit problem in the rear of the chassis but as it will be completely hidden I didn't worry about it. The detail was a little soft in the interior and the body has some mold lines to sand but for 12.00U.S it's not bad! It ain't Tamiya, but it didn't cost 25.00 either!!

awesome work for one of revell's worst kits.

BTW, don't you hate how the hood doesn't fit in snugly? I had the same problem with my series 1 kit.
