(post pics) RX-7 Steve 07-23-2006, 12:42 AM soviautos.com 07-23-2006, 12:45 AM Mercedes Gullwing Jaguar XKE V12 Convertible Citroen DS19 That last one was weird, eh?:grinyes: RX-7 Steve 07-23-2006, 01:00 AM Nice selection, but you forgot to post pics and explain why you'd choose those cars! RX-7 Steve 07-23-2006, 01:18 AM First I'd choose a Hummer H1 (but military Humvee-spec) for going off-road, carrying people/stuff, towing a boat/jet-skis/trailer, traveling, and getting the "practicle vehicle" choice outta the way. http://www.c2e.info/core/images/amgHummer.jpg Then, I'd choose the 2002 RX-7 Spirit-R (the last and most powerful of the RX-7's) as a weekend sportscar, collector's peice, track-car. http://my.opera.com/shedeuw/homes/albums/37683/RX-7%20Spirit%20R%2001.jpg Finally, the pride of my collection would be Mazda's LeMans-winning 787B race-car (the 4-rotor slayer of Ferrari,Porche,BMW,Honda,McLaren,Bugatti, etc., which if I'm not mistaken was outlawed by the LeMans-committee because of its dominance). http://www.snyper.net/RX-7/SS7/images/DSC00650.jpg soviautos.com 07-23-2006, 09:50 AM Well..... I like cars that stood out in their time, for instance http://www.caamdp.com.ar/images/Fangio03/Mercedes%20GullWing%20300SL.jpg The Mercedes 300SL Gullwing was Mercedes at it best. A work of art:p http://69.36.180.69/cars/jaguar-1964-xke-roadster-001b.jpg When the Brits got it right, they really got it right. This car just speaks to me. It say Buy Me!!!!!!:) Finally, http://www.autoretropassion.com/ds/ds19-1956.jpg What can I say. I'm a sucker for a lovely French girl.:p RX-7 Steve 07-23-2006, 11:10 AM ^You have good tastes. blakscorpion21 07-23-2006, 03:15 PM 1. mk4 toyota supra because ive always loveed this car ever since i first saw it, id love to get one an build it for alot of power. 2. noble m12 just cause this an awesome car. 3. 94-99 celica gt-4. im mad that they were never offered in the states and i want one just because of its rarity and rally dominance. sorry no pics im on a dialup connection. DinanM3_S2 07-27-2006, 10:11 PM These are always tough for me because its hard to narrow it down... Daily Driver- BMW E60 M5, black on black, HUD, side adjustable seats. I was tempted to say Maserati Quattroporte, but the M5 really is the best sedan made by anyone today. Its the only car out of these three that I've driven (yet) and it is simply amazing. http://www.bmwusa.com/LeadGenBYO/Images/VehicleImages/XAB60BMC171A0/front/0651_475_3qfront.jpg Weekend Driver- Ferrari F430, red. From everything I've heard, this is the greatest non F40, F50, Enzo car Ferrari has ever made. It is usable enough to be driven regularly, but is also simply a blast to drive. http://www.channel4.com/4car/media/100-greatest/03-large/37-ferrari-f430.jpg Track Car- well.... what could beat a Mazda 787B? http://www.grandprix.com/jpeg/misc/ferrari04launch2-rg.jpg Michael Schumacher's F2004 F1 car. This car has more wins in one season then any other car (I think) and brought Schumacher his latest championship. It also holds many lap records. Beat that. kevinthenerd 07-29-2006, 03:28 AM I'd want to figure out some way to make a high-end race car street-legal. I think I'd pick an Audi R8 or R10 (diesel) as my "sporty" car, scaled back a lot for the rigors of daily driving. Audi's wide dominance in Le Mans is just insane, and I happen to like the styling of the R10. For my ultimate track car, I'd pick a Ferrari F1 car... not because they're the fastest, but to keep Ferrari from using them themselves! It's almost not even fair what kind of money Ferrari spends on their cars that few other teams have to use. If not for that reason, I'd go with a Renault F1. It has buckets of torque. My third car would be a Lotus Exige. It handles very well, gets good gas milage, and if anything breaks, it's loaded with Toyota parts. RX-7 Steve 07-29-2006, 03:33 AM Good choices but you forgot the damn PICS!!!!! :D kevinthenerd 07-29-2006, 04:20 AM Audi R10 http://www.autoclub.com.au/uploaded_images/audi-r10-788879.jpg Ferrari F1 http://www.7extrememotorsports.com/formula1/cars/ferrari-f1-15.jpg Lotus Exige http://www.econ.kuleuven.be/public/ndbaf47/Wallpapers/Lotus/Lotus-Exige-07-1024.jpg jcsaleen 07-29-2006, 11:29 AM Saleen S7 Competition http://www.theraceforum.com/images/forum/3364-9-3.jpg Mclaren Lm http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/9113/img1956pg3.th.jpg (http://img213.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img1956pg3.jpg) http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/4259/img1958it3.th.jpg (http://img213.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img1958it3.jpg) http://img213.imageshack.us/img213/2755/img1959ur5.th.jpg (http://img213.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img1959ur5.jpg) http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/1093/img1961yj4.th.jpg (http://img143.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img1961yj4.jpg) http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/3248/img1964lp6.th.jpg (http://img148.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img1964lp6.jpg) http://img249.imageshack.us/img249/1387/img1966pn2.th.jpg (http://img249.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img1966pn2.jpg) http://img148.imageshack.us/img148/2594/img1978im9.th.jpg (http://img148.imageshack.us/my.php?image=img1978im9.jpg) Koenigsegg CCX http://img23.imagevenue.com/loc134/th_79157_P1130154.jpg (http://img23.imagevenue.com/img.php?loc=loc134&image=79157_P1130154.jpg) http://img106.imageshack.us/img106/2086/ccx0wh.th.jpg (http://img106.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ccx0wh.jpg) http://img41.imagevenue.com/loc69/th_63632_week_24_2006_by_pterps_316_aan.jpg (http://img41.imagevenue.com/img.php?loc=loc69&image=63632_week_24_2006_by_pterps_316_aan.jpg) http://img208.imageshack.us/img208/7928/ccx9wm.th.jpg (http://img208.imageshack.us/my.php?image=ccx9wm.jpg) http://img105.exs.cx/img105/308/ccx22yq.th.jpg (http://img105.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img105&image=ccx22yq.jpg) Made a nice ~ In action http://www.exotixboard.com/customavatars/avatar141_3.gif Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
