This device lets you use your steering wheel audio controls with an aftermarket stereo. Worked great on my grand prix.

I'm looking for a set of stock 5 spoke wheels off of a grand prix, 16". I have the cross-laced wheels on my car currently and I like the 5 spoke better. Best deal I can find is about $250 for a set and that is a little much. So if anyone has any that they've replaced with aftermarket wheels or something, or just extra ones, I'd be willing to pay 40-50 dollars per wheel, or if you want my crosslaced wheels we could work something out. The SLP hood needs to have a few cracks in the glass fixed and painted but it is solid. I do not have the means to fix the hood so I just want to put a stock one on. Shoot me a PM. A Redfire Metallic Hood is so close to White no one will ever notice the difference! Plus I wouldn't mind going on a road trip to Wisconsin if you would throw in the SLP exhaust for trade on a stock setup!!!

I have a SLP hood on my 2000 Grand Prix GTP (GTX). I also have the SLP cold air kit to go with it. I want to trade it for a good condition stock hood. It must be white, no dents scratches etc..
The SLP hood will need a crack repaired and repainted of course.

Well, I have had plenty help from this forum and it has all been appreciated, but I am finally at the point where I cannot continue to put anymore money into my 1997 Grand Prix :disappoin...so I want to be aware as I go to possibly sell it to a junk yard (need to get it moved as quick as possible as I have moved from the apartment complex - if not for this, I'd sell it for parts myself).

I know that the tensioner has fallen out of it again and I was told that the rack & pinion is leaking. I get more if I drive it in, but was told while ago that would mess the car up worse. Of course, the junkyard is not concerned about further damage and neither am I, my only concern is can I get it there safely? (safely meaning will I still be alive :biggrin:).

Any help would be appreciated. I would need to drive it about 15 miles to get it there and they are saying anywhere between $300 to $400. If they have to come and get it, they are saying between $100 to $200 (same as a few others have said).

Post it on Craigslist and put a picture on there if you can. I would buy it and come pick it up if I lived close. Someone will buy it fast. It is free to post too. I have bought and sold cars on CL many times.

Thanks for the suggestion! I have heard so many horror stories about Craigslist that I am not sure if it is the way to go for me....Also, is it drivable for shorter distances?...Like 15 miles? Also, how much do you think I can get? The body looks decent enough, the interior not so much. it has a removable Pioneer radio that works well also. Window motors gone.

I am going to do some research on best practices for staying safe when selling cars on Craigslist too!

i have a custom built alternator for a 97 grand prix. it makes about 150 amps, (stock is 105). its powder coated red and has about 20,000 miles on it.

i have 2 brand new black corners for headlights for a 97-03 grand prix

lastly i have a subwoofer box that was built specifically to be space efficient in a grand prix. it fits about as tightly as possible and ported and internally tuned to about 33Hz. it is for 2 12" subs. it does need to be covered, but is INCREDIBLY strong.
