I have a 93 Paseo....the guy that owned it b4 me had put an alarm in, a new stereo and fog lights...and he messed up somewhere. A while ago I replaced the domelights, and when I turned the car over the radio was dead, the clock was dead, the dome light (that I had just replaced) was dead and now my alarm doesn't work right. It used to set itself after about 3 mins, and wouldn't beep when I set it...now it beeps, but doesn't auto set. So...wondering if anyone has any ideas, or a wiring diagram so I can at least figure out what is supposed to be there stock.

Thanks
nate

Look at a wiring diagram and see if there is a common point of failure.

Dome lights, clock and radio are often run off the same circuit *from the factory*. It's entirely possible that whoever did the installation of the extra equipment, got their power from that same circuit...effectively overloading the circuit. If, when you replaced your dome lights, you used a higher wattage bulb, that could have been the final straw and it blew the fuse. The alarm probably lost power and "forgot" its programing. Silent arm/disarm are usually optional features of an alarm system, as is auto arming. Find out the make and model of alarm and try to look up programming instructions online.
