The AC compressor can remain in place. http://72.19.213.157/files/LT1TimingSet.jpg Nym 07-17-2006, 06:26 PM Thanks for getting back so quickly, Blue. That's the problem I seem to be having.....removing the alternator/Idler bracket. Is there another bolt hiding in there or something? I'm afraid to really reef on the head as the bracket is aluminum. Maybe it's just stubborn, I don't know. What I do know is that the engine was really neglected before I bought the car. Everything under the hood either is siezed or rusted, but the engine ran good...that is until I decided to change the plugs and snapped 2 off in the head :disappoin Cheers Related Links Participate in thousands of discussions at AutomotiveForums.com!
