this car has had a vibration in the steering wheel since new. ford has replaced 14 tires in 13000 miles and it still vibrates in steering wheel..cant be the tires! when gripping the steering wheel and holding on you can feel it pretty much at all speeds.but more at 50-60 mph. i feel its some thing in drive train or bearings. has any one else had this problem? please help me. jack10671@yahoo.com

get all the suspension and steering components inspected, could be bad ball joints or bad tie rods (make sure you check inner's too) also could be a bent rim, do you or any other driver of the vehicle remember hitting a pothole or a curb or anything, also chances are slim but it could be that the brake rotors are really badly warped, check rotor parallelism

Has the steering rack ever been checked? I have seen a couple of racks exhibit this symptom.
