90 DeVille Rim Problem

hey i went to the local rim shop i wanted to get deep dish rims but the guy said i cannot get deep dish because it is front wheel drive...why is this?

Did you ask him? The offset is excessive for the caliper and hub position. Plus the weight of the front drive would load the suspension and knuckle excessively, as the wheel sits outboard of the hub centerline.

i did ask him all he said was "where are they guna go" i was like yea..he seemed busy but thanx thats exactly what i needed to know
