The Beretta and Cavalier share most driveline parts. With a complete donor car (ECM, engine wiring harness, etc..), and the CV axles for a Cavalier (the Beretta is wider, so the axles are different), the swap could be done, although it may prove frustrating.

you won't know the frustrating part until something doesn't fit/line up... too bad their isin't any easier way

your signature shows your car is a 2.0 4 cylinder. Swapping in a V-6 requires a lot of little bits and pieces you may not have thought of until you need them. That's the frustrating part. Also, the V-6 is such a tight fit, you may have to drop the cradle and put the engine in from the bottom.
