Hello-

I have 117K on my 97 GV. I am getting an SES that says low air flow on EGR. For starters, where is the EGR on the 3.3? It looks like aboput $60 for the part.

Any tips on replacement?

The car does not accelerate too well right now under 3K rpm - but no other codes, new plugs and wires. Upper rpm feels normal.

Any Assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Paul

Bob-

Thanks.

Is it something I can get to rather easily? I am gonna break down and buy a manual one of these days.

Just curious if there are any tips - if none needed, that works for me.

I just got the price on this and it is almost $100. What is the downside if I do not replace it?

Any Thoughts?

Hi again Paul,
I didnt change mine but by looking at it i dont think it would be too hard at all,
Problems that can begin to occur is stalling when you let your foot off the gas when slowing down for a light, rough idle, etc...
Probably best to replace it and avoid later headaches down the road.
And unfortunetly you cant split the valve into the control and valve assemblies, they come as one unit!
Best of Luck,
Talk to you soon,
Bob
