hood release

some of you know i bin working on my 89 accord that got in a fight with a garbage truck and lost.
anyway the hood latch is bent the cable is cut up and it looks like a mess.
i was wondering if i can do anything with the hood that is more easier.
like the doors that pop out from a hit of a button ...i'll take any idears
no matter how stupid or how much duct tape i can use lol
