Feint Motion 07-08-2006, 07:13 PM Do you mean Nitro fuel or Gasoline? 2 stroke, or 4 stroke? gionc 07-09-2006, 05:56 AM As the RC guys can say you RC engine up to 3.5-5 cc use an alcohol mix with approx 80% alcol 10%oil and 10-30% nitro: the stock engine would be ok with 10% nitro but you need to decompress with a 0.1mm roundel under the head every other 10% of nitro: for example with 30%nitro you need 2x0.1mm roundels. Alcohol if I remember right (I stop all my RC activities a couple of years ago despite I own more than 10 models) is the isopropylic kind and the oil.. I don't know: I ever bought mixed fuel ;) And for a 1/5 car engine (23cc) you need just fuel and oil like the two stroke engine of a scooter. Ages ago there was some 3.5cc fuel engines (not nitro) but for sure they haven't the 2,5/3 HP and 40.000 rpm of some actual good engines.
